摘要: In order to evaluate the acute and chronic effects of normothermic cardiac anoxia, structural functional observations were made on hearts 29 dogs subjected total cardiopulmonary bypass. Elective, arrest was induced by aortic cross-clamping for 30 minutes in 7 45 16 dogs. The remaining six dogs, which served as controls, placed bypass without cross-clamping. control seven anoxia showed excellent function minimal myocardial damage; one dog latter group that died 6 12 hours after no damage. All extensive Depressed demonstrated three five survived eight days or longer damage myofibrillar degeneration type progressed replacement fibrosis; this selectively localized left ventricular papillary muscles subendocardium.
