摘要: Abstract We use coseismic offsets, derived from continuous GPS measurements at six nearby sites, due to the twin Varzaghan-Ahar earthquakes (northwest Iran) of 11 August 2012 (Mw 6.4 and 6.3) constrain slip distribution on ruptures two earthquakes. assume that during occurred conjugate faults. Majority first earthquake which involved dextral east west trending vertical plane. The shallow depth reached up ∼0.9 m surface, consistent with evidence surface rupture observed offsets. During second oblique a north–south having steep dip towards extending north eastern edge earthquake. Maximum ∼0.4 m ∼6–8 km. Derived moment magnitude (6.45) our analysis is reported magnitude, while (6.1) slightly underestimated analysis.
