摘要: 2-amino-4,5-imidazoledicarbonitrile (AIDCN) has been considered as a promising material toward organic nonvolatile memory application. Aiming for achieving deep understanding of the origins bistable electric behavior AIDCN-based devices and, in particular, reported drastic improvement device performance by replacement Al top-electrode with Ag, we elucidated electronic structures interfaces between AIDCN and electrode metals (Ag Al), well bulk AIDCN, photoemission spectroscopy (PES). Ionization energy was determined to be 6.6 eV that also certified photoelectron yield measurements. For AIDCN/Ag interface, highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)-derived peak clearly resolved PES spectra even when thickness overlayers were below monolayer.
