摘要: values (> 150 £ 10 i8 m 3 /kg) are observed in last 100 km of the river. However, some elevated also first km. Frequency dependence magnetic susceptibility is calculated to understand grain variations which presented and discussed. The average activity concentration radionuclides ( 238 U, 232 Th 40 K) falls within typical world Indian although extreme determined. To assess radiological hazard river sediments, indices such as absorbed dose rate, annual eective equivalent, radium Hex, Hin, I∞, I excess lifetime cancer risk) shows below internationally recommended values. relative distribution major minerals determined by calculating extinction coecient. Correlation analysis carried out between parameters obtained from radioactivity other analyses know existing relations. Obtained correlations discussed suggest that natural level present sediments mainly controlled clay content.
