摘要: Sediment and filamentous algae were collected from territories of the detritivorous blenny, Salarias patzneri, to identify sources dietary detritus. Samples during summer winter analysed for fatty acid, hydrocarbon sterol biomarkers. Sediments predominantly contained: even carbon number acids, a high percentage polyunsaturated acids prevalence n-heptadecane n-pentadecane. This composition lipids is typical organic matter derived recently deposited algae, or living microalgae. Similarities between sediment algal imply may be major source detritus in sediments. did however have higher 16:1ω7 than samples this most likely due inputs sediments diatoms bacteria. Based on 20:5ω3 concentrations, it was estimated that accounted 18% 4% winter, whilst 18:1ω7 concentrations suggest bacteria 10% both seasons. In addition, lipid biomarkers indicated dinoflagellates, corals, cyanobacteria zooplankton also contribute sediments, providing diverse range nutrients. It combination sedimentary provides S. patzneri with essential
