摘要: The trends in semen quality are conflicting. Although many previous surveys on indicated a decline, the Sichuan area of south-west China not clear. We analysed parameters cohort 28,213 adult males close to general population between July 2007 and June 2012, investigated changes quality. including pH, volume, concentration, motility, morphology were measured according World Health Organization (WHO) criteria. Kruskal-Wallis analysis variance was used examine statistical differences groups. found that medians (5th 95th percentiles) 2.4 ml (1.0-5.0) for 62.0 × 10(6) ml(-1) (15.0-142.0) 39% (18-60%) sperm progressive motility 10.5% (1.0-34.5%) normal morphology. In these 5 years, concentration percentage decreased from 66.0 10(6 ) 49.0 13.5% 4.5%, respectively; among different reproductive history groups, also years. And incidence azoospermia increasing. These may imply there is decline area.
