摘要: Fetuin, a fetal plasma glycoprotein, has been shown previously to be present in sub-populations of neurons the developing central and peripheral nervous system. To gain more complete description time course appearance fetuin during neurogenesis we have examined immunoreactivity, presence mRNA, rat trigeminal dorsal root ganglia. Fetuin immunoreactivity its mRNA were first seen at embryonic day 15 ganglia, 16 In both ganglion, appeared up until around birth, then again between postnatal days 3 16. The results suggest that appears ganglion cell axons reach their targets, which is also approximately when cell-death period begins. proportion immunoreactive different ages was inversely related amount death known occur these populations, thus it seems likely associated not with dying cells, but those survive period.
