A new redox strategy for low-temperature formation of strong basicity on mesoporous silica

摘要: A redox strategy was designed to generate strong basicity on mesoporous silica by using the interaction of a precursor with methanol vapor. The formation strongly basic sites realized at 400 °C, which breaks tradition thermally induced decomposition that usually requires much higher temperatures (>600 °C).
