摘要: Abstract The intermetallic-based alloys for structural applications have been an active field of research around the world last 20 years. Several major breakthroughs occurred in this during time period. These include: (1) dramatic effects boron on ductility improvement Ni3Al at ambient and high temperatures, (2) effect chromium addition intermediate temperature Ni3Al, (3) identification environmental from hydrogen generated by reduction moisture air aluminum aluminides. knowledge compositional has led to development Ni3Al-based alloys, which allowed them be taken laboratory-size melts commercial applications. This paper will describe advances melting practice, casting practices, solidification modeling as it applies static centrifugal castings weld repairs, welding castings. also various their current status commercialization.
