摘要: In this paper, a management strategy to be used in the scheduling of insular electrical systems with energy storage system (EES) is presented. Integration ESS allows reducing generation costs and greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions, as well improving wind power penetration levels. The methodology presented paper particularly useful for those provided battery ESS, due it ability include effects most relevant components, such thermal renewable generation, bidirectional converter, charge controller operation. From analysis case study considering diesel-powered Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB), possible estimate potential reduction on fuel consumption curtailment, comparison without EES.
