摘要: The aim of this single-center cross-sectional study was to detect the prevalence selected periodontal pathogenic bacteria and active matrix metalloproteinase-8 (aMMP-8) level in patients before (preLTx) after liver transplantation (postLTx). Periodontal pocket depth (PPD) clinical attachment loss (CAL) were assessed. Subgingival biofilm samples analyzed using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) 11 common pathogens. Gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) determine aMMP-8 assigned a scoring system: score 0: 0–8 ng/ml, 1: 8–20 ng/ml, 2: >20 ng/ml. following used for statistical analysis: t test, Mann-Whitney U Fishers test (α = 5 %). In total, 110 (preLTx: n = 35, postLTx: n = 75) could be included study. findings not significantly different between groups. microbiological analysis, higher Campylobacter rectus preLTx group detected (p = 0.03). Significantly more 0 postLTx (p = 0.024) 1 found (p = 0.004). Furthermore, concentrations moderate periodontitis lower compared (p = 0.045). Additionally, group, concentration severe those no/mild (p = 0.016). LTx appears affect level, but bacterial LTx. Determination immunosuppressive medication might lead wrong interpretation results.
