摘要: This study reports the physical outcomes of 181 survivors severe head injury [Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) 8 or less] following aggressive management which included early triage, evacuation and resuscitation, use ventilation in Intensive Care Unit intracranial pressure (ICP) measurement control. At conclusion period 2 years after injury, 71% had achieved a Glasgow Outcome (GOS) 1, 17% GOS 2, 10% 3 2% 4. Physical recovery continued during years. Locomotor independence was 93% despite motor disorder 59%. About 90% were considered independent for basic life functions, e.g. feeding, bathing, dressing toileting. Speech disorders present 19%.
