摘要: The economically important soapberry family (Sapindaceae) comprises about 1900 species mainly found in the tropical regions of world, with only a few genera being restricted to temperate areas. infrafamilial classification Sapindaceae and its relationships closely related Aceraceae Hippocastanaceae – which have now been included an expanded definition (i.e., subfamily Hippocastanoideae) debated for decades. Here we present phylogenetic analysis based on eight DNA sequence from plastid nuclear genomes including 85 141 defined within family. Our study 997 new sequences 152 specimens. Despite presenting 18.6% missing data our complete set produced topology fully congruent one obtained subset without data, but fewer markers. use additional information therefore led consistent result relative position clades allowed hypothesis. results confirm high level paraphyly polyphyly at subfamilial tribal levels even contest monophyletic status several genera. confirms that Chinese monotypic genus Xanthoceras is sister rest family, Hippocastanoideae clade comprising subfamilies Dodonaeoideae Sapindoideae. On basis strong support demonstrated Sapindoideae, as well 14 subclades, propose discuss informal groupings Sapindaceae.
