摘要: The number of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students seeking enrollment in higher education courses Western countries where English is the predominant language has grown considerably past decade, especially undergraduate health care courses. When enrolled nursing courses, are required to complete clinical placements. Such experiences can create significant challenges for CALD language, cultural differences, interpretation norms complicate learning process. To assist transition successfully, an extracurricular integrated curriculum program was developed implemented at a university Queensland, Australia. series interactive workshops based on principles caring pedagogy student-centered learning. applies strategies that combine small-group discussions with peers, role-plays, interactions final-year student volunteers. Evaluation suggests it assisted most surveyed be successful their studies.
