摘要: This paper gives an overview of Microwave Applications in the Neurosciences and introduces this issue Journal Neuroscience Methods. Emphasis is laid on: temperature, hotspots, hazards cycle times use microwave oven. Consequences tissue dimensions masking antigens are discussed. Special problems encountered are: bulk preparation specimens, brain electron microscopy, cooling specimens during microwaving combination techniques. The recent developments discussed vacuum-microwave application for large antigen retrieval.
