摘要: The repeated intermittent administration of amphetamine (AMP) produces an enduring enhancement in the response dopamine (DA) systems brain to a subsequent “challenge” with amphetamine. However, former addicts are not only hypersensitive amphetamine, but also “physical or psychologtical stress”. This suggests that sensitization may change DA neurons stress. To explore this idea, effects footshock stress on regional metabolism brain, and concentrations plasma β-endorphin N-acetylated β-endorphin, were studied rats previously exposed saline. It was found that: (I) Prior treatment produced (at least 7 days) changes dopaminergic medial frontal cortex, hypothalamus, dorsolateral striatum nucleus accumbens. Generally, pretreated showed greater initial reduction footshock, elevation metabolites and/or metabolite/transmitter ratios, compared nonhandled control rats. (2) In some regions injections saline comparable those by (3) enhanced theelease from pituitary elicited is concluded (injections saline) produce These be responsible for hypersensitivity reported addicts, sensitized
