摘要: Abstract A detailed study of the possibility that long standing discrepancies between theory and experiment in values Coulomb displacement energies have their origin charge asymmetry nuclear force is presented. review present status mirror states given. We constructed a phenomenological asymmetric potential can remove energy for several nuclei yet having only minimal effect on 1 S 0 nucleon-nucleon scattering length. The form this however not compatible with contributions due to meson exchange processes been considered literature. assume these effects be reasonably described, up strength factors, by sum one-pion, one-scalar-meson (σ) one-vector-meson potentials. need some additional type effect, e.g. three-body forces, pointed out.
