Universal features of Thermopower in High Tc systems and Quantum Criticality

摘要: In high Tc superconductors a wide ranging connection between the doping dependence of transition temperature and room thermopower Q has been observed. A "universal correlation" these two quantities exists with vanishing at optimum as noted by OCTHH (Obertelli, Cooper, Tallon, Honma Hor). this work we provide an interpretation universality in terms possible underlying quantum critical point (QCP) Tc. Central to our viewpoint is recently Kelvin formula relating density derivative entropy. Perspective on gained through model calculation various Kubo formulas exactly solved 1-dimensional limiting procedures wave vector frequency.
