摘要: Preparation of cellulose nanowhiskers (CNWs) has grown significantly because they are useful for a wide range applications. Additional advantage in their design requires that meet the following characteristics: nontoxicity, abundance, sustainability, renewability, and low cost. To address these requirements, were prepared from Opuntia ficus-indica (nopal) by acid hydrolysis. Monitoring process CNWs preparation is necessary to ensure maximum yield purity end product. In this study, was monitored analyzing microscopic morphology SEM; degree determined fluorescence microscopy as novel rapid technique, FTIR spectroscopy used confirmation. The additional parameters crystallinity index X-ray diffraction size particle dynamic light scattering (DLS). Nopal found be comparable commercial microcrystalline cellulose. use viable alternative production highly pure strategy supervise rapid.
