摘要: The compressible Navier–Stokes equations are solved for turbulent spots at Mach 3 and 6, with both adiabatic cold (T w = T ∞ ) wall boundary conditions on a flat plate. From the results spot growth propagation rates derived which will help to quantify length of laminar transition. simulations also yield skin-friction heat-transfer data.
