摘要: A central theme underlying the discussion in this article is hypothesis that primary insomnia associated with adrenal and sympathetic hyperactivity, chronic emotional distress, adoption of an unhealthy lifestyle. These putative pathogenic pathways may combine other inherited or acquired risk factors for obesity type 2 diabetes to promote accelerate development systemic metabolic dysfunction.
