摘要: Objectives This study aimed to evaluate the influence of pre-photoactivation temperature on marginal and internal integrity (occurrence voids) fissure-sealing materials occlusal fissures using optical coherence tomography (OCT). Methods Occlusal 40 human third molars were sealed a resin-based fissure sealant (Fluroshield) flowable composite (Permaflo) photoactivated at 68 °C (preheated) or room (25 °C) (n = 10). After sealing, teeth subjected thermocycling (500 cycles, 5–55 °C) 14 days pH cycling (demineralisation for 6 hours/day remineralisation 18 hours/day). The surfaces scanned in buccolingual direction, 20 tomographic images parallel long axis each tooth obtained. Images presenting gaps voids counted statistically analysed analysis variance Tukey's test (P < 0.05). Results There significant differences between temperatures (P < 0.01). had lower percentage than sealant. Preheated temperature. Conclusion Therefore, preheated provided best sealing fissures, homogeneity material.
