摘要: Background: The aim of this study was to assess the influence externally applied ‘command set’ methods on microleakage several glass ionomer cements (GICs). Methods: Four different restorative GICs were cured using three methods: standard curing (SC), ultrasonic excitation (UC) and by an external heat source (HC). Different conditioning agents (10% polyacrylic 10% citric acid) used. sample comprised 180 teeth with 360 Class V restorations placed lingual vestibular tooth surface. After thermocycling, immersed in a dye solution for 24 hours, embedded acrylic resin, sectioned evaluated. Oberholtzer criteria used margin evaluation. Data analysed three-way ANOVA. Results: GIC showed statistically significant better marginal adaptation compared other tested groups (SC, UC) (p < 0.001). HC conditioned cavities had lower scores. highly viscous material Fuji IX GP Fast group demonstrated best adaptation. products reacted similarly heating treatment. Leakage at enamel margins significantly than cementum/dentine (p < 0.001). Conclusions: Heating during setting decreased microleakage, improved restoration is suitable clinical practice.
