摘要: Gender-related differences in various gastric functions and diseases have been reported, with women having a higher prevalence of gastrointestinal disturbances than men. The aim this study was to investigate sex-dependent activation the Rho-associated protein kinase (ROCK; RhoA/Rho kinase) pathway muscle contraction stomach using single smooth cells (GSMC) from male female Sprague–Dawley rats. Expression ROCK1 ROCK2 acetylcholine (ACh)-induced RhoA ROCK were measured specifically designed enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay activity kits, respectively. Contraction GSMC by scanning micrometry presence or absence inhibitor Y27632 dihydrochloride. ACh-induced subsequent greater rats but neither related expression total amount. Most important, inhibited abolished both sexes. In conclusion, increased is attributable RhoA/ROCK independent isoforms RhoA.
