摘要: The Diffusion Welding (DW) of two or more sheets Ti-6Al-4V alloy is particularly interesting for aerospace parts manufacturing. In some cases, DW can be carried out together with Superplastic Forming (SPF), because they share a single facility and the same processing parameters, such as temperature, pressure, time, surface condition vacuum. overall manufacturing process known SPF/DW, by which it possible to obtain honeycomb structures in range designs. Temperature requirements industrial SPF are very restrictive temperature 1,023 K needed. However, not so critical DW, bond produced at lower temperatures, when other mainly pressure changed suitable way. parameters this research were chosen order produce joints below K. differences between temperatures would thus revealed. Mechanical tests used tool check obtained (1,123 K), complemented metallographic studies. results form shear peel have been already discussed. themore » present work impact energy also presented.« less
