摘要: Cancer is a genetic disease occurring through multi-step process. Many important genes responsible for the genesis of various cancers have been discovered, their mutations precisely identified and pathways which they act characterized. One question that remains unanswered whether development new, more specific therapeutic agents best way to minimize cancer morbidity mortality in long-term. Metastasis relentless pursuit escape its primary site colonize distant organs. Phenotypic changes during progression reflect sequential accumulation alterations, endow cells with ability undergo own divergent evolution create distinct metastatic species. In order understand this process, it crucial identify whose alterations accumulate correlate phenotypes cells.
