摘要: Model calibration and validation are critical components in developing a useful model for simulating ammonia production grower-finisher swine barns. Data were collected from two partially slatted rooms to use as input data the Ammonia Concentration Emission Simulation (ACES) purposes. Ten 3-day sets used during of volatile fraction total ammoniacal nitrogen slurry, air exchange rate through floor, fouled floor area, urease activity factor. The remaining twenty validation. biases ACES simulations hourly room pit headspace concentrations -1% 10%, respectively, 2% 11% average areas, respectively. suggest that emission urine puddles on surface can account majority (>95%) with low (<7) slurry pH properties.
