摘要: A two-step damage identification approach based on wavelet multi-resolution analysis and genetic algorithm (GA) in beam structures is presented this paper. The location of the crack identified first step by defining index called relative packet entropy. Then, severities at locations are assessed second using GA. component energies for each depth used severity evaluation database required to reveal relationships between obtained a transform. effects type decomposition level detection examined beams with various scenarios presence different noise levels. To investigate robustness accuracy proposed method, numerical examples experimental cases depths considered. results demonstrate that method performs reasonably well has great potential estimation severities.
