摘要: Colicin A from Citrobacter freundii and aerolysin Aeromonas hydrophila are representatives of two classes pore-forming toxins. A, an alpha-helical protein, contains a hydrophobic hairpin which is buried inside the structure in solution. It “inside out” membrane protein. Aerolysin formed almost exclusively by β-sheets possesses very hydrophilic amino acid sequence. secreted as inactive precursor activated proteolytic removal about 43-41 residues C-terminus. The mechanism insertion bound form these toxins discussed.
