摘要: Follicular fluid (FF) contains various cytokines that are involved with folliculogenesis, some of which have been shown to be associated oocyte quality and the implantation potential a resulting embryo. Several IL-1 family members previously identified in FF. This study investigates newly member family, IL-33, its receptor ST2, comparing values those FF Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor (G-CSF)--a known predictor Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) success. was collected from patients undergoing vitro fertilisation/intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) at retrieval analyse IL-33 sST2 expression human follicles. sST2, but not is highly increased compared plasma levels (up 7.9-fold), higher larger follicles (p<0.05). Furthermore, we identify luteinised granulosa cells one possible source as these express secrete when cultured ex vivo. oocytes fertilised develop into good embryos than graded average (p<0.01). These were transferred patient between successful unsuccessful ICSI cycles. However unlike G-CSF, cannot used predict cycle outcome.
