摘要: The tegument of the paramphistome, Gastrodiscoides hominis, is basically similar to that other digeneans. It folded into concentrically arranged furrows and ridges bearing numerous tightly packed tubercules, extends oral cavity. An area specialized present on ventral surface, anterior disc region. Mitochondria are absent from tegumental syncytium underlying cells, suggesting may serve principally as a protective layer rather than in active uptake phenomena. However, extensions lymph parenchyma systems closely associated with base provide ATP for processes. Ciliated non-ciliated sensory papillae present, particularly around opening. Numerous channels sub-tegument be involved osmoregulation.
