摘要: Publisher Summary Rubredoxins are small, redox-active proteins that range in size from 45 to 55 amino acids. More than a dozen rubredoxins have been purified and characterized the protein complete genome databases contain 26 rubredoxinlike sequences. So far, rubredoxin has found exclusively strict anaerobes, which includes both bacteria archaea, some organisms might be considered microaerophiles. There number of much larger rubredoxin-like sequences or domains facultative anaerobes aerobes. Such vary considerably of, as well location distance between, cysteine motifs. The canonical only one hyperthermophile, archaeon Pyrococcus furiosus . This chapter describes purification P. recombinant Escherichia coli Included methods obtain 15 N-labeled form, is very useful for detailed structural dynamic analyses using NMR spectroscopy.
