摘要: Microcystis was cultured under standard conditions in BG-11 and M-11 media. Using results of an analysis RNA total organic carbon (TOC) content, a significant logarithmic relationship between growth rate the RNA/TOC ratio described to measure rate. Colonial samples collected shallow, hypertrophic lake (Lake Taihu, China) during May–November 2012 were divided into six size classes ( 500 μm), each class analyzed evaluate differences growth. The colonies 150–300-μm highest from May August, but increased along with increase colony September November. Our also indicated that water temperature did not change size, larger higher than smaller at low nitrogen, dissolved phosphorus concentration, high light intensity. Taken together, these suggest large colonial possess advantage is consequence this faster lower nutrient concentrations intensities.
