摘要: The study evaluated genetic progress of a breeding program for common carp undergoing four generations selection increased harvest body weight from 2004 to 2014. pedigree included 17,351 individual fish which were offspring 342 sires and 352 dams. Genetic parameters at about two years age survival rate during grow-out period also estimated using the residual maximum likelihood method applied two-trait linear mixed model. Direct response in correlated changes measured as differences in: i) values (EBVs) between lines; ii) EBVs line successive generations. gain ranged 0.20 0.90 standard deviation units averaged 7 % base population per generation (two generation). Correlated negligible, indicating that high growth did not have any adverse effect on this trait present population. heritability was moderate (0.17, s.e. 0.05), whereas estimate low (0.05–0.17) but significantly different zero across threshold generalised statistical models. Our results predict or/and other related traits will continue respond there is potential improve through direct means. improvement hardly achieved, correlation zero. It concluded resulted significant performance Cyprinus carpio.
