摘要: Genomic prediction using Diversity Arrays Technology (DArT) genotype by sequencing platform has not been reported in yellowtail kingfish (Seriola lalandi). The principal aim of this study was to address knowledge gap and assess predictive ability genomic Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (gBLUP) for traits commercial importance a population comprising 752 individuals that had DNA sequence phenotypic records growth (body weight, fork length condition index). gBLUP method used due its computational efficiency it showed similar performance other approaches, especially whose variation is polygenic nature, such as body analysed study. accuracy or the model estimated three traits: folk index. moderate high (0.44 0.69) growth-related traits. weight increased 17.0% (from 0.69 0.83) when missing imputed. Within five-fold across validation approach performed well (weight, factor), with coefficient determination (R2) from linear regression analysis ranging 0.49 0.71. Collectively our results demonstrated, first time kingfish, potential application selection future breeding program species, S. lalandi.
