Spectrum and asymmetry of high energy neutrons emitted in the absorption of polarized muons

摘要: Abstract The rate of production and the asymmetry neutrons emitted directly with capture polarized muons have been expressed in terms single-nucleon integrals. This expression takes account momentum-dependent to first order muon Hamiltonian is suitable for calculations involving general neutron wave functions. When plane waves nuclear matter are assumed function, calculated intensities asymmetries agreement recent experiments on silicon, sulfur calcium. strongly affect but not intensity, whereas model seems intensity asymmetry.
