摘要: This article is based on a study of traditional lifestyle practices in the Sandy Lake First Nation community northwestern Ontario, considering some benefits and risks reintroducing off-the-land food sources, specifically as they relate to burbot (Lota lota L.). concentrates, therefore, four avenues exploration: (1) “nutrition transition” Nations population, (2) meaning diet Nation, (3) nutritional value analysis determine its energy content medicinal properties, (4) plausibility sources into community. We argue that though there may be health advantages reintroduction off-the land contemporary diets, these will realized only if practiced according historical dietary traditions drawing from critical parts animal tissues maximize nutrient intake.
