摘要: Food security exists when people have consistent physical and economic access to sufficient, safe nutritious foods meet their dietary needs food preferences for an active healthy life. Remote northern First Nations communities suffer disproportionate rates of insecurity confront a myriad social problems that stem from colonization. Access healthy, inexpensive culturally appropriate will not solve all these problems. Such may be possible under current conditions. Northern Stores often monopoly the greatest part year in remote communities. Hence, they impose own prices selection based on pure capitalist model.
