摘要: Neutron radiation is known to produce tumors in animals and cause cell transformation. We have developed a protocol efficiently induce thymic lymphomas RF/J mice by single acute dose of neutron irradiation. Activated ras genes were detected 17% (4 24) the analyzed. One contained K-ras gene activated point mutation codon 146. Activating mutations at position 146 not been previously any human or animal tumors. The spectrum radiation-induced was different from that seen induced gamma same strain mice. These results may important implications for mechanisms which types damage DNA.
