摘要: In Sepetiba bay (State of Rio de Janeiro), a semi-confined, 305 km2 salt-water body, the present sedimentation is essentially elastic. From these sedimentary deposits, 92 samples have been collected and analysed which have allowed us to investigate the following parameters: benthonic foraminifera / planktonic foraminifera ratios, physical conditions the foraminifera (size, wall thickness abrasion degree), diatom content samples. Six dominant species foraminifera have identified in studied area: Ammonia beccarii Line thirty-eight samples, Buliminella elegantissima Orbigny seventeen Textularia sp. fourteen Bulimina marginata ii, two Reophax Arenoparrella mexicana Kornfeld one sample. Thus, three principal biofacies less important are characterized by foraminiferal sediments. These results confirm importance synecological studies understanding water circulation dynamics sedimentary dispersion on regional level. Moreover, it has verified that water-oxygen ecosystem is reflected
