摘要: Over the past decade much research has focused on understanding molecular pathways that regulate development of a tumor-associated vasculature. In 1999, Lyden and colleagues showed mice deficient in one to three Id1 or Id3 alleles could not support growth tumor xenografts due defects angiogenesis7. Three recently published manuscripts have now reexamined role Id genes vasculature using more clinically relevant model systems. Remarkably, all studies found strikingly different results compared original xenograft data 1999. Below we review current given most recent suggest ways which animal systems might be put better use provide information.
