摘要: The paper describes the effect of extracellular volume conductor on electrophysiological behaviour an adjoining multifibred cardiac muscle preparation, where fibres are parallel to interface and each other. It is shown how, at any given depth from interface, approximating linear-core model can be formulated, interstitial resistance per unit length depends depth. At surface zero whereas greatest it approaches value that results when preparation in oil. Because this varying total axial with depth, because velocity, action potential foot, maximum rising-phase slope, wavefront waveform will also vary Furthermore these qualities anisotropic, since tissue conductivities anisotropic. Numerical examples presented show hypotheses consistent experimental results.
