摘要: Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is pathologically characterized by α-synuclein aggregates in the brain. Most patients DLB also show cerebral Alzheimer disease-type pathology (i.e. β-amyloid plaques and hyperphosphorylated tau deposits). It unclear whether this overlap coincidental or driven specific regional cellular interactions. The aims of study were to investigate convergence α-synuclein, tau, identify patterns co-occurrence DLB. group consisted 22 who met clinical neuropathologic criteria for Protein assessed semiquantitatively 17 brain areas. APOE MAPT genotypes determined. Cellular was evaluated double immunofluorescence. We found that total scores correlated positively (ρ = 0.692, p 0.001). factors best amount severity presence H1 haplotype. Tau frequently colocalized limbic areas, but no correlation between observed. This confirms extends role deposition haplotype as contributing pathogenesis demonstrates confluence multiple agents neurodegenerative diseases.
