摘要: Abstract The incidence of colonic cancer coexisting with an aneurysm the abdominal aorta is approximately 2%. Such a coexistence presents true dilemma to surgeon for it often difficult decide whether treat carcinoma or first. This report summarizes opinions 46 Professors General Surgery and Vascular who gave their response as which condition should receive priority treatment. Approximately one third respondents favored excision first; stated they would excise remaining said withhold decision until laparotomy was performed. Two surgeons replied that attempt perform aneurysmectomy colectomy simultaneously. (J VASC SURG 1985;2:724-6.)
