摘要: Abstract Amphetamine, caffeine, and high ambient temperature (125.6 F) were compared with placebo to determine their effects on a variety of strength, psychomotor, mental performance tasks certain physiological measures 24 young men who students at the University North Carolina. Performance was measured objectively only after each subject had been given standard extensive practice acclimatization. The study permitted conclusions that (a) 15 mg. d-amphetamine sulfate significantly improved but caused significant increase in heart rate, (b) 500 citrated caffeine did not produce change either or parameters measured, (c) produced improvement performance.
