摘要: Objective: This study aimed to explore the relationship between current post-traumatic brain injury psychiatric disorders and psychosocial outcome. Design: A total of 100 participants 87 significant others were interviewed using Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Diagnosis. Participants: Participants with mild very severe traumatic up 5.5 years post-injury. Methods: The Sydney Psychosocial Reintegration Scale assessed changes in vocational status, status independent living status. Results: domain revealed greatest degree change. Current depression and/or anxiety contributed significantly more variance regression models than did any other variables. Pre-injury substance use not predictive outcome Longer amnesia duration, fewer education, male gender greater time post-injury certain domains. There no differences partici pants’ self-report reports their regarding symptoms or measures. Conclusion: presence are strongly related poor terms independence. causative direction these relationships is unclear. Using a 3-domain measure has shed some light on factors that contribute different aspects following injury.
