Size effect of nanoparticles on the conjugated polymer in PPV/SiO2 nanocomposites

摘要: Abstract The size effect of nanoparticles on the conjugated polymer was investigated in terms optical and electronic properties poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV) PPV/SiO2 nanocomposites. nanocomposites were prepared by mixing PPV precursor SiO2 sols with 5 19 nm. conjugation length nanocomposite using 5 nm is much shorter than that PPV. similar (5 nm) to result an increase morphological disorder PPV, while nanoparticle 20 nm shows decrease disorder. Therefore, current density device lower enhanced density.
