摘要: Outdoor wireless sensor networks are all exposed to a constantly changing environment that influences the performance of network. In this paper, we study how variations in meteorological conditions influence IEEE 802.15.4 links. We show varies over both long and short periods time, correlate these changes conditions. The case is based on six months data from network deployed next research station running continuous experiment, collecting high-quality link measurements. present observations deployment, highlighting packet reception ratio signal strength. Furthermore, with four selected factors, temperature, absolute humidity, precipitation sunlight. Our results strength most temperature correlation other factors less pronounced. also identify diurnal cycle as well seasonal variation aggregated discuss implication findings they can be used when designing networks.
