摘要: Our reanalysis aimed at understanding the regularity in empirical biomass size spectra (BSS) suggests that construction of BSS depends interval and scales used different definitions literature are therefore very different. Existing models can be fitted perfectly to observed data, but biological basis parameters is not explained comparison interpretation findings difficult. Parameters mechanistic have a background interpretable. Discrete based on Lindeman's trophic chain theory assume constant ratio (or body mass) two adjacent levels. However, this comparable with (logarithmic) intervals measured spectra. The continuous model by Thiebaux Dickie (1992) discrete Boudreau et al. (1991). We show how validity transformation form into continous ranges prey predator population. Eulerian strategy which appears more adequate for problem than previously Lagrangian strategy. able demonstrate BSS.
