摘要: 1 - The influence of spectrum resolution on the detection spatio-temporal variability in macrozoobenthos size structure was investigated a coastal lagoon located southern Italy (Le Cesine, Puglia). 2 In fall 2004 and spring 2005, individual dry mass benthic macroinvertebrates collected box-corer samples determined at six experimental sites. Individual data were allocated to class scales with logarithmic bases ranging from ×1.2 ×3.0 0.1 increment; spectra decreasing degree produced tested for effects two orthogonal factors “season” “site”. 3 Significant interaction between observed independently scale used produce spectrum. Subsequent post-hoc comparisons showed no predictable, scale-dependent patterns either or spring; nonetheless, seasons minimum maximum number significant inter-site respectively an octave (×2) spectrum. 4 Our results indicate that evaluating might be helpful increasing consistency size-related approaches analysis monitoring macrozoobenthic assemblages.
